Bacon and Brew is operated by Zero Admin (Pty) Ltd. We are committed to protecting your personal information in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA), and where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Information We Collect

2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and personalise Bacon and Brew's core app features.
- To display nearby venues relevant to your location.
- To maintain ratings, check-ins, badges, and trust signals.
- To diagnose issues and improve app performance.
- To comply with legal obligations under POPIA and applicable law.
3. Sharing and Processors
We use Cloudflare for hosting, database, and photo storage; Firebase for anonymous authentication and diagnostics; Google AdMob for advertising; RevenueCat for subscription management; and mapping or venue data providers such as OpenStreetMap, Google Places, and Mapbox. We do not sell personal information.
4. Account and Data Deletion
You can delete your account in the app by opening Profile, choosing Delete account, and confirming. This deletes or de-identifies personal app data linked to your anonymous account.

5. Retention
User records, check-ins, badge events, trust events, reports, and personal attribution are kept until account deletion. Aggregate venue statistics may be retained without personal attribution. Business claim contact details may be retained for claim verification and dispute handling.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Data at rest is protected by our hosting providers' managed security controls. Payment card details are handled by app stores and RevenueCat, not by Bacon and Brew.
7. Minors
Bacon and Brew is not directed at users under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Your Rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or objection by emailing platform@zeroadmin.co.za. We respond within 30 days.
